We require a Midday Supervisory Assistant for 4 lunchtimes a week, 1 hour 20 minutes a day, term time only (Monday-Thursday) at the Infant School to start on 13th November. We also need relief MSA's to cover lunchtimes as and when required. For more information please see Liz in the office or look on our website:

Mr Graveling would like to start up a parents' panel which will meet in school once every half term to discuss things that are happening around school. The meetings will take place on a Tuesday from 1430 to 1515. The first meeting is on Oct 10th, and the date for subsequent meetings will be set on that day. The aim of this group is to talk about general themes going on around school and add another form of communication between parents and the school. We must make it clear that no individuals, whether that be staff, parents or children, will be discussed at these meetings. If you wish to be part of this could you message Mr G on class dojo, or email the office (officejr@lpfed.org) and he will add your name to the list. We would like the panel to consist of no more than 12 people, more would prevent meaningful discussion, and hopefully they can be a spread across year groups and gender. Therefore we cannot guarantee everybody will be involved in every meeting, but we would certainly involve everybody who responds in some way. Hopefully, this can be another way of positively engaging with each other and improving on what we all already do for the children. We look forward to hearing from anyone interested.

Tomorrow the school will close. This is for staff to be able to pay their respects to Mrs Young, a friend and a colleague, as it is her funeral. While it will be an incredibly hard and sad day for us all, I am always grateful to have such a wonderful group of staff, children and parents that continue to work hard, play hard and, above all else, keep smiling during such a difficult time. I love seeing the pictures and videos of the activities that the children (and staff) have been doing. They bring a smile to my face every day. Thank you. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time, and we are all sending them our sincerest sympathy and support. I have met with her family a couple of times now, and we have chosen a friendship bench that will be installed at each site in her memory. Take care Richard
